Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using Free Ground School (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. What the Service is

The Service provides study material to prepare for the FAA Private Pilot knowledge test. It does not provide flight instruction. The Service is a study aid and is provided for educational preparation only. It is not an FAA-approved training provider unless expressly stated, is not an authoritative aviation source, and is not a substitute for current FAA materials, applicable regulations, or instruction from an authorized instructor.

The course-completion certificate is for internal course-completion purposes only. It does not satisfy the requirements of 14 CFR § 61.35(a)(1), does not constitute an endorsement from an authorized instructor, does not certify that you have accomplished FAA-required ground training or a home-study course, and does not authorize you to take any FAA knowledge test.

AI instructor output is for supplemental educational purposes only. It is not flight instruction, ground instruction by an authorized instructor, legal advice, operational aviation advice, or an FAA-approved source. AI output must not override FAA regulations, FAA handbooks, the ACS, the Pilot’s Operating Handbook/Airplane Flight Manual, NOTAMs, weather briefings, ATC instructions, or the direction of an authorized flight instructor.

3. No guarantee of outcomes

We do not guarantee that you will pass any FAA examination. Any conditional refund offering is described on the guarantee page and is subject to its own terms.

4. Accounts

You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information and for safeguarding your credentials. Accounts are for a single individual and are non-transferable.

5. Payment

Pricing is described on the pricing page. Refunds are governed by the refund policy.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service, including attempting to defeat content protections, reverse-engineer the platform, or submit fraudulent information.

7. Intellectual property

Course content is original and owned by us or our licensors. You receive a personal, non-transferable license to use it for your own study.

8. Disclaimers

Content is provided on an "as is" basis and current content is draft, pending certified-flight-instructor review. It is not an authoritative aviation source. Always confirm against current official FAA publications and your instructor.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability arising from your use of the Service is limited. Final terms will be set following legal review.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated before they take effect.
